From early afternoon, the intersection of Le Duan and Cong Xa Paris streets was packed with people waiting, many carrying national flags, banners, and wearing red and yellow outfits. A festive atmosphere permeated every street, blending with the excitement and pride of the people as they witnessed one of the key events during the country's major holiday.

In response to the large influx of people, the Ho Chi Minh City Police proactively coordinated with other functional forces to quickly implement plans to ensure security, order, and traffic safety. Numerous checkpoints and guidance points were set up at key intersections. Officers on duty were continuously on duty to regulate traffic, guide people, and prevent congestion, crowding, or pushing.

To ensure smooth rehearsal, Ho Chi Minh City announced a traffic ban and parking restrictions for all vehicles and non-essential personnel on several key routes from 5:30 PM on April 25th to 1:00 AM on April 26th. The traffic diversion and road closures were implemented effectively and flexibly, contributing to maintaining absolute safety in the event area.

The rehearsal involved 48 units from the Army, Police, Militia, mass organizations, and cultural and artistic groups… Prior to this, the program underwent two comprehensive training sessions on the nights of April 18th and 22nd, aiming to perfect techniques, formations, and synchronize each stage.

Ho Chi Minh City police also issued several recommendations to the public, urging them to limit the use of private vehicles, prioritize buses, and travel in groups for mutual support and to avoid traffic congestion. People were reminded to wear neat and polite clothing, and bring necessary items such as drinking water, fans, and light jackets to ensure their health and the solemnity of the ceremony.

In addition, authorities continuously used loudspeakers to remind people to follow instructions, avoid crowding, maintain general hygiene, and carefully safeguard their belongings. All of this was aimed at ensuring maximum safety for attendees and creating a positive and civilized image in the eyes of international friends.

In particular, tonight, Brigade 96 will use live 105mm ceremonial artillery at Bach Dang Wharf for the first time during the rehearsal, creating an impressive highlight for the program.

An atmosphere of heroism, order, safety, and overflowing patriotism is what the people of Ho Chi Minh City and tourists witnessed during the rehearsal night on April 25th – an important prelude to the historic April 30th celebration.
