Grasp the difficulties right from the base
According to Mr. Luong Trong Nghia - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, recently, dialogue activities and forms have been carried out in a more diverse manner, helping to fundamentally and promptly resolve difficulties and problems of enterprises right at the grassroots level.
In the first 6 months of 2025, departments, branches and localities continued to maintain and proactively organize business dialogues in many forms: directly, sending letters, receiving written feedback and recommendations via Zalo, and the unit's electronic information page. Some units have proactively integrated business dialogues with inspections, surveys and training, thereby both implementing legal regulations and support policies of the Central and the province to the subjects eligible for support, and at the same time grasping difficulties at the grassroots level.
In which, the Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinates and implements policies related to regulated subjects such as enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, OCOP entities, and agricultural production and business establishments.
The Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with localities, the Ceramic and Fine Arts Association and relevant units to conduct surveys and direct dialogues with ceramic manufacturing enterprises and rural industrial production establishments. Along with that, the Department of Home Affairs organized direct dialogues at a number of enterprises on labor policies, employment, wages, occupational safety and hygiene, and occupational accident insurance.
Continue to share and accompany businesses
In addition, the province actively supports the rapid implementation of investment, business, credit procedures, tax exemptions, fees, charges... for investors and enterprises. Focus on directing the promotion of basic construction investment to contribute to job creation, complete infrastructure for production, promote business and consumption. With the above efforts, according to Mr. Luong Trong Nghia, the economic picture of the province in the first 6 months of 2025 has achieved some outstanding points compared to the same period last year.
Accordingly, the economy achieved a fairly good growth rate, increasing evenly in all three sectors: agriculture, industry and services. GRDP in the first 6 months of the year increased by 8.16%. Agricultural production was well organized, consumer prices and consumption markets for many products were stable and increased by 3.15% over the same period. Industrial production recorded a rapid recovery, increasing by 16.5%. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased by 26%.
Total export turnover is estimated at 560 million USD, reaching 50.9% of the plan and increasing by 10%. Total social development investment capital reached 9,170 billion VND, reaching 46.31% of the yearly plan and increasing by 11% over the same period last year. New investment policies/investment registration certificates were granted to 9 projects; there were 7 expansion investment projects. Compared to the same period last year, the total number of newly granted projects increased by 7 projects, the total newly registered investment capital increased by 1,206.87 billion VND and 2.68 million USD. In addition, 311 enterprises/branches and 3 cooperatives were newly established.
At the recent conference to meet and discuss to resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses in the first 6 months of 2025, representatives of companies and businesses shared about the situation of production and business activities. Some recommendations revolved around issues of resolving land procedures, granting red books, implementing Resolution No. 68 on the private economy, market issues, product output, etc.
A representative of Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Company commented on the progress of resolving the company's problems regarding the issuance of red books and transfer of red books for land plots for factory design.
Informing that he is in the process of converting from a business household to an enterprise but is facing difficulties, Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong - owner of Thien Hoang Phuc coffee business, said: Currently, he is stuck with tax regulations because he has been following the method of a business household, which is different from the method of an enterprise or company.
Therefore, he hopes that the tax department will have more training courses for businesses to grasp the knowledge and do well. Mr. Cuong also plans to expand the scale of the factory and wants to learn about the province's support policies to invest in a more complete factory.

Mr. Dang Van Chinh - Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the province fully shares and accompanies enterprises to promptly remove obstacles and difficulties, in order to create favorable conditions for enterprises to operate and develop production and business.
At the same time, actively implementing Conclusion No. 123 dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more, Resolution No. 25 dated February 5, 2025 of the Government on growth targets for sectors, fields and localities to ensure the national growth target in 2025 reaches 8% or more, Vinh Long has set the province's growth target at 8.0-8.5%.
