The ship in distress had a capacity of 300 horsepower, was nearly 17 meters long, and had 8 crew members on board. By 8:00 a.m. today, authorities had rescued 4 crew members who were clinging to a foam buoy near the location of the sunken ship.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Hoa province has asked functional units to support the rescue team in searching for the four missing people, including captain San.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that for nearly a week, the North has been experiencing thunderstorms and hail due to a low pressure trough compressed by a cool air mass from China. This situation is expected to last until tomorrow, concentrated in mountainous provinces in the afternoon and evening.
