Da Nang city boasts not only famous beaches and scenic spots but also incredibly attractive cuisine . Besides familiar local specialties, fresh seafood is a popular choice for many visitors. Da Nang also has long stretches of coastline that have given rise to famous seafood markets that attract tourists. Let's explore the largest, most famous, and reputable seafood market in Da Nang – the fish market on the Man Thai Tho Quang beach in Son Tra district.

Let's join author Nguyen Ai Viet in experiencing the seafood night market through his series of works "Night Market" to see that this is also a wholesale market where traders regularly buy seafood to supply to large and small markets in Da Nang. Neighboring provinces and cities also choose Tho Quang Fishing Port as a reputable place to purchase large quantities of seafood for business. The author submitted this photo series to
the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

In the early hours of the morning, the Mân Thái Thọ Quang Sơn Trà beach in Da Nang becomes bustling with activity as the fish market returns from the sea... everyone is busy with their own tasks, bringing the fish ashore and distributing them to everyone... the market is busy from 3 am to 6 am, then it disperses, and the fish are then redistributed to countless restaurants and markets throughout the city...

Between 4 and 5 in the morning is when traders bring seafood to the markets. If you go to the market around this time, you can sometimes buy seafood at a much cheaper price than usual.

Upon arriving at Tho Quang Fishing Port, you will undoubtedly be immediately captivated by the bustling atmosphere, with baskets overflowing with fresh, abundant seafood of all kinds.

Because it's a wholesale market, people don't need to worry too much about prices. The seafood here is not only very fresh and diverse, ranging from shrimp, fish, crabs, and lobsters to clams, oysters, and mussels, but the prices are also very reasonable, sometimes even half the price of smaller markets.
