(BDO) On the evening of May 17, a fierce Pitbull dog bit an 82-year-old woman to death at a house on Thong Nhat Street, Binh Thang Ward, Di An City. The victim was identified as Ms. D.TV (82 years old, from Dong Nai ).
The house where the incident occurred
According to initial investigation, Mrs. V. lives with her biological daughter, Mrs. TTTT (44 years old) and son-in-law in the above house. The owner of this house keeps 2 dogs, Pitbull and German Shepherd, locked in an iron cage.
At 7:00 p.m. the same day, Ms. T. opened the iron cage and let the Pitbull dog, weighing about 40 kg, out to feed. At this time, Ms. V. was sitting on a hammock about 15 meters away. Because Ms. V. spoke loudly, the dog was frightened and ran in to bite Ms. V.'s head, causing the victim to fall to the floor. Seeing this, Ms. T. tried to stop the dog from going out, but the dog's large size made it impossible to stop it. A few minutes later, Ms. V. died on the spot.
The Pitbull was controlled and locked in an iron cage afterwards.
Immediately afterwards, Di An City Police quickly arrived at the scene to coordinate the investigation and clarify the incident.
