A lifeline for impoverished patients

The Hoa Sen Medical Center (Phan Rang Ward) was established in November 2025 with the goal of providing high-quality medical services to people in the southern part of the province, while also sharing with those less fortunate. Every day, the center receives hundreds of patients for examination and treatment, including the poor, orphans, people with disabilities, and those in difficult circumstances, who receive free examinations and treatment.

Share with those less fortunate.

Every time Nguyen Thi Thanh Chau visits Hoa Sen Medical Center for a health check-up, she feels cared for as if she were in a family. Orphaned after the Covid-19 pandemic, Chau thought she would have to stop her studies. Fortunately, she was adopted by Lawyer Le Nguyen Le Vi - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Hoa Sen Medical Center - who provided her with the opportunity to continue her education. Currently a 10th-grade student at Hoa Sen Inter-level School, Chau not only receives academic support but also free regular health check-ups at the center. Each time she comes, she receives encouragement and support from the medical staff. "I come here regularly for check-ups. The doctors are very dedicated, always caring and attentive," Chau shared.

Mr. Pham Dinh Nam, a visually impaired man from Phan Rang ward, found warmth at the Hoa Sen Medical Center. He learned about the center while having a meal at the "Smiling Restaurant" for the poor, supported by lawyer Le Nguyen Le Vi. After learning about his situation, lawyer Vi introduced him to the center for a free health check-up. This is Mr. Nam's second visit to the center. "Because I can't see, the staff always provide very thoughtful support when I come here. That's what touches me deeply and makes me very grateful," Mr. Nam said.

Dr. Kieu Vuong Phuc Thinh - Department of Surgery shared: "What the medical team always strives for is fairness in healthcare. We do not discriminate based on the circumstances or economic conditions of patients. Working in this environment and contributing to the healthcare of the people makes me very happy."

Besides its human resources, the center has invested over 100 billion VND in modern equipment, enabling residents in the southern part of the province to access high-quality medical services locally. In the future, the center will expand its support for patients in difficult circumstances and implement health insurance coverage up to 80%, contributing to reducing the financial burden on the people. Lawyer Le Nguyen Le Vi stated: "My biggest goal in establishing the center is to provide high-quality medical services to the people, especially the vulnerable in society.
