President: Successfully organize the Party Congress in the People's Public Security Forces in all three aspects

On the morning of December 11, in Hanoi, President Luong Cuong visited and worked with the Ministry of Public Security.

Presenting the Summary Report on the results of the implementation of the National Security Protection Strategy and the work of building the People's Public Security force since the beginning of the 13th National Party Congress term, Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, stated: The Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have been exemplary in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and have achieved many particularly important results in the work of grasping the situation, advising and forecasting strategies; the work of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the People's Public Security force...

National security protection work is carried out resolutely, proactively, early, from afar, from the grassroots; many complicated security issues that have lasted for many years, and many key sabotage subjects, have been thoroughly handled.

Resolutely and synchronously deploy solutions to prevent and combat crime, reduce crime, achieve and exceed many targets set by the National Assembly; focus on investigating and strictly and thoroughly handling many serious and complicated corruption and economic cases, including those that are still pending and prolonged; recover large assets for the State, creating positive changes in social order and safety.

Being exemplary and pioneering in national digital transformation, reforming administrative procedures to serve the people, contributing to the construction of e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society, has created a "breakthrough" in changing the state of operations in state management of security and order. Focusing on leading, directing, consolidating people's security, people's security posture, associated with the all-people national defense, the all-people national defense posture, firmly; mobilizing the entire political system and the masses in the work of ensuring security and order.

Continue to take the lead in implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee; focus on building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force according to Resolution 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo, associated with perfecting the organization of a streamlined, strong, effective, and efficient apparatus in the direction of "a refined Ministry, a strong province, a comprehensive district, and a grassroots commune," close to the people and closely following the grassroots; persistently arrange and perfect the internal organization of the Public Security of units and localities; synchronously implement solutions to improve the capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and the quality of Party members; focus on building a disciplined Commune, Ward, and Town Public Security, gradually perfecting the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level nationwide...

The Ministry of Public Security also reported to the President a number of emerging issues regarding security, order, threats to national security, and key directions and tasks to successfully complete the goals and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security.

Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong affirmed that since the beginning of the term, our country has had many favorable opportunities but also faced many difficulties and challenges, both objective and subjective. However, with courage, wise leadership, and high solidarity, our Party has led and directed the overcoming of many difficulties and challenges, maintaining political stability and socio-economic development.

The President commended, acknowledged, highly appreciated and congratulated the Ministry of Public Security for being proactive, firmly grasping the situation, upholding responsibility, and completing all tasks well since the beginning of the term, including many excellent tasks, making a very important contribution to protecting independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and unity; protecting the Party, State, people and the socialist regime; protecting the cause of innovation, industrialization and modernization; protecting national and ethnic interests; protecting political security, social order and safety; maintaining a peaceful, stable, secure and safe environment for national development, which has been highly appreciated by the Party, State and people.

The President highly agreed with the direction and key tasks of the Ministry of Public Security; at the same time, he emphasized a number of key tasks that need to be focused on in the coming time. Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Security must continue to grasp the situation, direct the synchronous and successful completion of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and the Resolution of the 7th Central Party Congress of the Public Security, maintain political stability for national development as the spirit that late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong thoroughly understood: "good is getting better and better, excellent is getting better and better"; at the same time, it must focus on completing the task of absolutely ensuring the safety of major events of the country, especially the Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of Delegates that the people are eagerly waiting for and expecting.

Along with that, according to the President, it is necessary to focus on building party organizations in the Central Public Security Party Committee to be truly clean and strong; associated with continuing to build a "lean, compact, strong, effective and efficient" organizational apparatus and successfully implementing Resolution 12 of the 12th Politburo on continuing to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; doing a better job of caring for, ensuring working conditions, living conditions, progress and policies for officers, soldiers, and policies for the People's Public Security rear.

The President emphasized that it is necessary to focus on successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels in the People's Public Security Forces in a synchronous manner on all three aspects: quality of documents; quality of personnel at all levels of the Party Committees in the Public Security Forces and quality of Public Security personnel participating in Party Committees at all levels. At the same time, proactively develop a Project to implement activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day according to the set goals and requirements. Continue to proactively and effectively coordinate with departments, ministries, branches, localities, and judicial agencies in the spirit of "already good, already tight, from now on it must be better, tighter." Focus on doing well in foreign affairs and international cooperation so that the People's Public Security Forces' foreign affairs continue to be an important pillar in the foreign affairs of the Party and State.
