(CTTĐTBP) - On the morning of April 18th, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee, chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee to summarize the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, of the 12th Central Committee on some issues concerning the continued reform and restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus to be streamlined, effective, and efficient.

At the conference, representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department – the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee – reported on the following: the assignment of tasks to Steering Committee members; and the submissions to the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee regarding the implementation of resolutions, conclusions, and new directives from the Central Committee on organizational restructuring and the work of Party congresses at all levels. Simultaneously, Steering Committee members continued to discuss and provide feedback on the draft plan for restructuring commune-level administrative units in the province. The discussion focused on the number of administrative units after restructuring; the partial adjustment of mergers between communes, wards, and towns; and the selection of proposed locations for the administrative centers of merged units.
Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, Nguyen Hong Tra, reported on matters related to the assignment of tasks to members of the Steering Committee; and the content submitted to the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee regarding the implementation of resolutions, conclusions, and new directives from the Central Committee on organizational restructuring and the work of Party congresses at all levels.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh, Head of the Steering Committee, outlined several key areas for effective implementation in the coming period. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the restructuring and streamlining of the political system's organizational apparatus in the province has been proceeding urgently and decisively. In addition, preparations for Party congresses at all levels have been carried out promptly and meticulously in accordance with regulations. To ensure good personnel preparation for the restructuring and organization of the apparatus and the organization of grassroots Party congresses, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that districts, towns, and cities continue to review and evaluate their cadres; prepare the congress documents well; and effectively carry out ideological work for cadres and Party members.
