On the evening of September 22nd, the third episode of the program "Timeline - Songs That Accompany the Years," themed "For Peaceful Moon Seasons," broadcast by Hanoi Radio and Television, with the participation of numerous young singers and artists, raised over 2 billion VND along with many donated items and relief supplies for people in areas affected by storms and floods.

The program

The program evoked a wide range of emotions in the audience.

The program was broadcast live on channel H1, FM96 radio, the Hanoi On app, and other digital platforms of Hanoi Radio and Television Station. Viewers were immersed in the empathy and spirit of mutual support and sharing with those affected by the floods and storms through songs such as "Nguyet Ca," "Lu Dem," "Nu Oi," and "Bao," performed by singers Dong Hung, Nam Tuoc, and Y Garia Enuol, along with the Dong Thoi Gian Orchestra and the Hanoi Youth Dance Troupe.

Singer Nam Tuoc evoked strong emotions with his song "Nu Oi," which he set to music from a newly composed poem of the same name by Luu Trong Van. The work recreates the sorrow and pain of those left behind after witnessing the deaths of nine children in the horrific landslide in Nu village, Lao Cai province. Nam Tuoc stated that the emotions he expressed in the song stemmed from his own experiences witnessing his fellow villagers struggling during the recent storms and floods.

The program also allows viewers to immerse themselves in the romantic, pure melodies of nostalgia and childhood memories during the Mid-Autumn Festival, such as: "Bright Moon in My Homeland," "Where Do We Come From?", "The Trickster," "Tears of Stone," "Folk Songs of You and Me," "Moon Falling by the Lake," etc.

Through its tightly structured and layered program, "Timeline - Songs That Accompany the Years" episode 3 guided viewers through a range of emotions while reminding them of empathy and brotherhood during difficult and harsh times.

The organizers and artists hope to use music as a bridge of empathy to connect millions of hearts, spreading the spirit of mutual support and promoting the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people.

The program

Singers and many organizations and individuals have donated over two billion VND along with many items to people in areas affected by natural disasters such as storms and floods.

During the program, young singers and artists, as well as many agencies, organizations, and individuals, donated cash and suitable goods to support people in the storm and flood-affected areas in rebuilding their lives after the natural disaster. Specifically, the program raised over two billion VND in cash along with many goods to support the affected people.

All funds received from donations in this program will be used by Hanoi Radio and Television Station in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local authorities to directly implement the construction of safe community learning centers for children in locations such as Nu Village (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province) and other landslide and flood-affected areas in mountainous and midland provinces. A portion of the funds will also be used to implement clean water systems for the people in areas affected by storms and floods.

The provision of assistance to people in flood-affected areas is carried out transparently and responsibly, following the principle of meeting the right needs, in the right places, and at the right time.
