Linh Lang Art Program - Sacred Convergence

(CLO) The art exchange program to perform the intangible cultural heritage "Linh Lang - Sacred Qi Convergence - Long Bien Shines" took place at the Truong Lam Communal House and Pagoda Relic Complex, Viet Hung Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi on the evening of March 8, attracting the participation of thousands of people in the capital.

The program takes place to recreate the unique legend of Linh Lang Dai Vuong; introduce and propagate the ancient sacrificial rituals of 13 relics worshiping Linh Lang God in Long Bien district; perform the unique "snake shedding" dance ritual of Truong Lam Communal House Festival...; thereby, honoring the historical values ​​and cultural quintessence of Long Bien land, associated with the heroic tradition of Thang Long - Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Bien District, Head of the Program Organizing Committee affirmed: "Linh Lang - Sacred Qi Convergence - Long Bien Shines" has an extremely important meaning for Long Bien District, is the premise and basis for the district to continue organizing the Scientific Workshop to propose the recognition of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Linh Lang Dai Vuong, promoting the value of the heritage to become a cultural product and elevating the Linh Lang Festival to the district level. From there, it opens up opportunities to connect, exchange, and perform heritage with 269 relics of Linh Lang Dai Vuong across the country; contributing to spreading historical and cultural values ​​to the masses".

“This is also the core task of Long Bien district, aiming to concretize the policy of preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritages and developing cultural industry according to Resolution 09 of the City Party Committee in the coming time,” Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha emphasized.

After the opening performance: "Long Bien: Sacred Spirit Convergence", the program takes viewers to an artistic space connected by three chapters: "Linh Lang Dai Vuong - Supreme God of Fortune"; "Thousand-year-old heroic spirit - Source of heritage"; "Era of rising - Aspiration to break through".

Staged in a semi-realistic format combined with 3D mapping technology, along with the resonance of folk and modern music , the program offers many elaborate performances, demonstrating the flow of history throughout many periods.

The successive scenes, subtly transformed through special effects, music, and diverse forms of performance such as singing, dancing, drum ensemble, Ao Dai performance... vividly depicted the indomitable spirit and bravery of the ancients fighting against enemies and conquering nature in the process of pioneering the country, expressing the pride of Long Bien people in their homeland, their aspirations, vision and determination to develop in the coming years.

The highlight of the program was the reenactment of the "Procession and Offering Ceremony in Linh Lang Dai Vuong Festival" ritual with the participation of many generations of Long Bien district residents, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity in the community; especially the snake dance ritual combined with the 3D Mapping performance, which satisfied the audience.
