Long Bien Ward: Dialogue, answering people's petitions

On the morning of November 7, Long Bien ward organized a dialogue conference between leaders of Party committees and authorities with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in 2025.

Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the ward Nguyen Manh Ha and Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Hai ward, together with more than 200 representatives of the Fatherland Front, women's organizations, youth organizations, union members, veterans... participated in the dialogue.

At the beginning, the delegates listened to a summary report on the implementation of the conclusion notice of the Party Committees of the old wards (Thach Ban, Cu Khoi, Long Bien) on 15 groups of issues raised by the people in the 2024 dialogue conference. Accordingly, after the dialogue conferences, the heads of the Party Committees and authorities of the wards focused on leading and directing the resolution of the opinions and recommendations of the people. 100% of the recommendations at the 2024 dialogue conference, including many pressing issues of people's livelihood, were promptly resolved.

Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Committee Hoang Hai said that after 4 months of operating under the 2-level local government model, the ward Party Committee and government have ensured unified, orderly and effective administrative, leadership and management activities. The ward Party Committee - People's Committee has issued over 5,000 documents, 40 concluding notices with about 200 specific tasks. The economy , infrastructure and urban development have achieved many positive results; Budget revenue reached 40.15 billion VND (87% of the estimate)... The ward has promoted investment and site clearance for projects, such as: Cu Khoi regulating lake project paid 107/110 households (101.6 billion VND), G.4/CXKO1 lake park 18 households (11 billion VND), 17.5m - 22m road 5 households (2/11.9 billion VND), 30m - 40m road 21 households (2.73 billion VND)...

16 representatives of the Fatherland Front, mass organizations and people of the ward spoke directly at the conference. The opinions highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the government with the prominent role of the head, thanks to which the ward achieved outstanding results in socio-economic development, maintaining security and order, building the Party and the political system; especially the results after implementing the two-level local government model.

Delegates also gave their opinions on Party building and the political system, reflected on land issues, construction order, environmental sanitation, lighting, and infrastructure, and proposed solutions to existing problems and obstacles related to urban planning, cultural houses of residential groups, policy support, social security, and care for disadvantaged people.

The Party Secretary, Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Committee and two Vice Chairmen of the Ward People's Committee discussed and answered opinions and recommendations.

According to Party Secretary and Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Council Nguyen Manh Ha, people's opinions all reflect reality, demonstrating a constructive spirit and high responsibility for local development.

To continue promoting the achieved results and effectively resolve issues of concern to the people, the Secretary of the Long Bien Ward Party Committee requested the Ward Party Committee Office to preside over the synthesis of all opinions expressed at the conference; review and compare opinions that have been answered and unanswered; advise the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee and People's Committee to issue a concluding document and direct specific implementation.

The Ward People's Committee focused on directing departments, offices, and units to thoroughly resolve the recommendations; strengthen on-site inspections, strictly handle violations in land management, construction order, and environmental sanitation; and improve the quality of service to the people.
