
The conference aims to comprehensively evaluate the results of activities in 2025, commend outstanding collectives and individuals and deploy a number of key tasks in 2026, contributing to promoting the development of the CAND sports movement, contributing to the country's sports. In particular, the Association closely coordinates with the Department of Political Work and functional units inside and outside the force to organize many foreign affairs activities, exchanges, and international cooperation in sports, creating a clear mark.
In 2025, with the attention and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security , directly led by General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, Chairman of the Association; with the close coordination and responsibility of functional units under the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the support and companionship of organizations and individuals inside and outside the Public Security force, the Public Security Sports Association continues to achieve many achievements, affirming its position and making a strong mark in many aspects, thereby creating a solid foundation for the long-term and sustainable development of Vietnam Public Security sports.

During the year, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association accompanied and supported athletes participating in 81 domestic and international sports tournaments, winning 620 medals (including 233 gold medals, 165 silver medals, 222 bronze medals). In 64 domestic tournaments, the People's Public Security Sports Association won 206 gold medals, 151 silver medals, 202 bronze medals; in 17 international tournaments, it won 27 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 20 bronze medals.
The CAND Sports Association also participated in the 2025 World Police and Fire Games in the US with 44 coaches and athletes competing in 11 events: shooting, athletics, swimming, martial arts and fire prevention, firefighting, rescue and rescue (PCCC and CNCH), winning 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.

Also in 2025, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association will work and implement a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam - Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA); coordinate with the Department of Political Affairs and the Hanoi City Police to send coaches and athletes of the People's Public Security to Japan for training, education and sports exchanges. The Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association will expand cooperation with domestic enterprises, establishing an important milestone in the strategy of socializing sports, opening up opportunities for sustainable development between the armed forces and the private sector.
Strengthening in-depth international cooperation, in October 2025, the Association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Mixed Martial Arts of the Russian Federation, establishing a long-term cooperative relationship in training and coaching mixed martial arts and promoting cultural and sports exchanges between the two countries.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh shared: “For the sports movement in general, the results achieved by the People's Public Security Sports Association (PPA) have contributed to raising the level of competition in top sports. Each PPA athlete has brought home medals in regional and international arenas.
For mass sports, activities such as running, pickleball, and marathons have a widespread effect, contributing to strengthening the sports movement among the people, taking care of public health, and promoting physical exercise.
At the same time, the CAND Sports Association creates a professional image for other associations to learn about scientific operating models and apply digital transformation in management work...".

At the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung affirmed that Vietnam's Public Security Sports has many important tasks in 2026, focusing on building a modern Public Security Sports Training and Competition Center; implementing a sports movement in the entire force, associated with the masses; planning a sports training and coaching network in the Public Security; identifying strong sports for strategic, long-term investment...
In addition, the Association also proactively discovers a team of coaches and athletes capable of winning medals towards high-performance sports; gradually professionalizes the work of selection, training, coaching and competition organization; improves the quality of top-notch sports achievements. Strive to rank the entire delegation in the top 6 units at the National Sports Festival in 2026.
