Identifying innovation, digital transformation and application of science and technology as key factors to improve the quality of education, in recent times, the provincial Department of Education and Training has proactively implemented many synchronous solutions throughout the sector.

Accordingly, implementing the policy of innovation, application of information technology and digital transformation in education, Tong Van Tran Secondary School (Nam Dinh city) has had many specific and effective solutions. The school has upgraded the internet infrastructure, exploited and used software for teaching and management, organized training for staff and teachers to use related software. Currently, 100% of classrooms have computers, high-speed fiber optic internet connection, serving well the teaching and learning of teachers and students. The school has 1 computer room with 23 computers and 1 server. Functional rooms and the principal have enough computers with high-speed internet connection. 100% of managers and teachers apply information technology (IT) in management and teaching. Teachers receive information and exchange information, notifications, and professional exchanges via email addresses, personal zalo, and pedagogical council zalo groups. To facilitate the application of IT and digital transformation by cadres, teachers and staff in performing their tasks, all cadres and teachers are trained and fostered in the skills of organizing and managing teaching and learning activities combining face-to-face and online; skills in designing e-learning lectures, video lectures, digital teaching equipment; skills in managing and effectively implementing management software in educational institutions; skills in information security; applying school management software; collecting educational services in a non-cash form and 100% of parents have performed well. In professional work, managers use Vnedu software, databases to manage student assessment and classification; teachers are basically proficient in using Vnedu software to manage personal information and student information of the class; use PowerPoint to design lectures; use Camtasia software to make videos; Timetable software... Many digital transformation contents are actively implemented by 100% of the school's teachers, helping to increase the effectiveness of knowledge acquisition and create excitement for students in each lesson, teaching period, and subject. From the application of IT, digital transformation has contributed to improving the effectiveness of the school's educational work. In the past school year, at the provincial science and technology innovation competition, the school's student group won the third prize; the provincial IOE competition won 1 second prize, 2 third prizes; 1 student won the third prize in Literature at the provincial level. The rate of students with good and excellent academic performance reached 69.3%. The school maintains a "Friendly school, active students", green - clean - beautiful at a high level, the school meets national standards and the school achieves level 3 education quality.

With the goal of constantly innovating and improving the quality of education, Tran Nhan Tong Primary School (Nam Dinh city) is striving to promote the application of IT, digital transformation at all levels, building models of smart classrooms and smart schools. The school is honored to be selected in the Project to build high-quality educational facilities of Nam Dinh city, as the first unit to pilot digital transformation from the 2023-2024 school year. Currently, the school has 2 smart classrooms in grades 2 and 3 with 80 students. These classrooms are all connected to high-speed internet, have projectors, and smart interactive boards. Through the smart learning device system, students' answers are synchronized on the board, so teachers can grasp the progress of completion and the quality of the answers of the whole class. Teachers can also correct assignments remotely, or proactively select a student's work, project it on the board to correct; At the same time, it helps reduce workload and time thanks to tools that support lesson preparation, grading, and automatic correction. The real-time learning reporting system allows teachers to quickly grasp the learning situation of each student, thereby being able to personalize the learning path, provide timely support and meet the needs of each student, ensuring timeliness and fairness in the classroom. To implement the smart classroom model, the school's Board of Directors has selected teachers with pedagogical qualifications, solid professional expertise, and the ability to proficiently apply IT and smart devices in teaching; at the same time, regularly innovate teaching and learning methods, using open learning methods. Actively guide students to practice self-study and research skills and encourage them to be passionate about discovering knowledge. The work of testing and evaluating student quality is simplified thanks to this model. The introduction of smart devices into teaching helps teachers realize ideas, and lectures become more vivid and attractive. Students receive knowledge in a new way, so they are excited, passionate, have better learning results, and their creativity and thinking ability are improved... This not only promotes initiative and trains self-study skills, but also helps them approach technology in a safe, controlled and targeted way. In addition, students learn through vivid and intuitive lectures, through gamification of lessons or timely support from teachers during the learning process, which is also a motivation to help them love learning more.

Currently, 100% of schools in the province have applied digital technology in teaching methods and educational management, 100% of educational institutions have deployed the use of: school management software (VNPT's Vnedu and Viettel's Smas) to support school administration with integrated digital workspaces; electronic record applications (electronic grade books, electronic transcripts); online payment of educational fees; applications for connection, interaction, and information exchange between parents and schools on digital platforms, applying free solutions such as OTT messages, emails, applications on mobile devices and educational websites; electronic administrative management system (E-Office); electronic information portal, educational email... Every year, the Department of Education and Training strengthens training to improve IT skills for teachers; deploys IT applications in management, direction, operation and educational management; deploying IT applications to support innovation in content, teaching, learning and assessment methods; education sector database systems; deploying IT infrastructure, equipment and other conditions... Up to now, all general teachers have been instructed on how to organize and manage online classes, build digital learning materials, exploit learning resources on the internet and use E-Learning lesson preparation software, online multiple choice questions, virtual experiments. Teachers are also trained in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to innovate content, teaching methods and management skills. In addition, the Department of Education and Training has deployed "cross-border" connected teaching and learning, helping teachers and students to exchange expertise and international culture. In addition, thousands of electronic lectures and digital teaching equipment have been built by teachers, winning high prizes in ministerial and national competitions. In the contest "Building digital teaching equipment in Nam Dinh province in 2024", the whole industry had 1,808 products participating in the contest, the organizing committee recognized 1,440 products, including 31 First prizes, 70 Second prizes, 113 Third prizes, 370 Encouragement prizes, 856 "Achieved" products.

To actively implement digital transformation, in the coming time, the Department of Education and Training will continue to perfect policies and innovative educational models based on digital platforms; ensure that 100% of educational institutions have access to modern technology, improve the ability to apply AI, VR, AR in teaching and management; continue to comprehensively digitize educational data, from student information to records and books, creating optimal conditions for management and operation; expand online public services, improve convenience and transparency in educational administrative procedures.
