According to A Bola , Alan Godoy scored the only goal of the match, bringing victory to Estrela da Amadora, who finished 15th in the Portuguese national championship last season.
In this match, the attacking trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix, and Sadio Mane were also given a chance to play. Ronaldo and Mane featured in the first half, but neither was able to score.
Previously, Al Nassr had two impressive victories, winning 5-2 against SK St. Johann and 2-1 against Toulouse. In the win against Toulouse, Ronaldo and Mohammed Maran were the goalscorers for Al Nassr.
However, the defeat against Estrela da Amadora raised concerns about the team's form and preparation ahead of the 2025/26 season.
