In the 2024-2025 school year, Binh Tan District will put into operation 7 new schools. Among them is Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School, which was started in May 2023 and recently completed. According to information from the Department of Education and Training of Binh Tan District, Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School was built on an area of 13,556 square meters with a total cost of over 276 billion VND. The school has one ground floor and three upper floors, comprising 36 classrooms and all necessary functional rooms, ensuring a learning environment for 1,260 students. In addition, the school is designed with a refreshing blue color scheme, matching the students' uniforms.
Mr. Ho Thanh Danh, Principal of Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School, said that this year the school welcomed 679 sixth-grade students, the first generation of the school. This is also the first secondary school in Binh Tri Dong B ward. To best meet the needs of innovative teaching methods, each classroom is equipped with a modern TV and sound system. In each classroom, the school also displays a map of Vietnam to educate students about patriotism and territorial sovereignty , and provides glass cabinets for storing school supplies.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Tan District, the opening of new schools like Binh Tri Dong B helps alleviate pressure on school facilities and creates the best learning environment, with elementary school classes reduced to approximately 37 students per class and junior high school classes to about 45 students per class. Mr. Nhut also stated that in recent years, the district has paid special attention to education, with the proportion of regular budget expenditure on education consistently exceeding 50% of the district's total regular budget expenditure.

Ms. Minh Trang, residing in Binh Tan District, expressed her joy and happiness that her child is now studying at a new, spacious school, larger than the one her child previously attended. After five years at Binh Tri 2 Primary School, Ms. Trang hopes her child will continue to have wonderful memories and receive dedicated guidance from the teachers in the future. "My child is fortunately bright, so I'm not too worried about her studies," the parent added.

This school year, Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School has 21 teachers and has hired several additional teachers on contract to ensure teaching is carried out effectively.
Besides Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School, Binh Tan District also invested in the construction of Dinh Cong Trang Primary School, Nguyen Cong Tru Primary School, Huynh Thuc Khang Primary School, Tran Cao Van Primary School, Hoang Van Thu Primary School, and Nguyet Que Kindergarten with a budget of 1,212 billion VND, scheduled for completion and commissioning in the 2024-2025 school year.
