Opportunity to buy vintage train tickets in Da Lat for only 50,000 VND.

The Saigon Railway Transport Branch announced that the railway will apply a flat fare policy of 50,000 VND for some classic Da Lat train routes, serving tourists during the 3rd Lam Dong Golden Tourism Week in 2024.

Specifically, passengers purchasing tickets for train routes DL1, D2, DL5, and DL6 will be charged 50,000 VND per trip, instead of the current price ranging from 60,000 to 105,000 VND per ticket. This price reduction will be in effect from May 31st to June 6th, 2024.

Previously, the Saigon Railway Transport Branch also announced its ticket pricing policies for the summer of 2024. On the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, the railway will operate 5 pairs of daytime trains (DL1/DL2, DL3/DL4, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8, DL9/DL10); and two pairs of nighttime trains (DL11/DL12, DL13/DL14). The specific train schedule for each day depends on passenger demand. Ticket prices range from 60,000 to 150,000 VND per passenger per trip. Tickets for trains DL1/DL2, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8, and DL9/DL10 include free artichoke tea and Wi-Fi. Tickets for train DL3/DL4 include free services: artichoke tea, Wi-Fi, and live violin/guitar performances on board. Tickets for the two evening train journeys DL11/DL12 and DL13/DL14 include complimentary services: artichoke tea, Wi-Fi, live violin/guitar/saxophone music, and a light meal. Special discounts are available for round-trip and group tickets. Specifically, groups of 15-29 people receive a 15% discount; groups of 30 or more receive a 20% discount. For round-trip tickets, individual passengers receive a 25% discount; groups of 10-39 people receive a 30% discount; and groups of 40 or more receive a 40% discount.
