On the afternoon of September 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that immediately after receiving feedback from people (via the "Online Health" application and feedback form), the Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC06), Thu Duc City Health Department, Ward People's Committee and An Phu Ward Police, Thu Duc City to conduct a surprise inspection at the house with the sign Mr. Lee (15 Nguyen Quy Canh, An Phu - An Khanh Ward, Thu Duc City).

At the time of inspection, the team discovered that this facility was equipped with 1 examination bed, a cabinet containing medical equipment, filler injection tools, and many nose-lifting tools using threads as advertised by this facility on social networks.

Checking the Facebook page “Mr. Lee Cosmetic Surgery – Binh Duong ”, the Health Department Inspector discovered that the facility had posted advertisements for cosmetic services, including images of Mr. TTT (also known as Mr. Lee) performing cosmetic nose lifts with thread and filler injections for customers.

At the time the inspection team arrived, “Mr. Lee” had just completed a nose lift procedure for a client and was consulting with other clients. “Mr. Lee” could not present any professional qualifications, medical practice certificates, or legal documents regarding cosmetic activities.

The owner of this illegal facility confirmed to the inspection team that he had learned this technique in Korea, and that he had done it correctly, although he could not prove any documents related to practicing cosmetic surgery.

The Department Inspectorate has drawn up a medical examination report, requiring the immediate cessation of illegal cosmetic practice, as well as the cessation of illegal advertising on social networks. The Department Inspectorate has invited the person concerned to clarify the violation and handle it according to the law.

However, after 2 invitations, Mr. TTT did not cooperate and did not comply. In response to Mr. TTT's defiant behavior, the Health Department Inspectorate sent a document to the Thu Duc City People's Committee and Thu Duc City Police Department requesting coordination to strictly handle this case according to the law.

The Department of Health recommends that when people discover or suspect an illegal beauty facility with signs of violation, they can immediately call the hotline 0989.401.155 or report via the "Online Health" application so that the Department of Health Inspectorate can have information, promptly detect and strictly handle according to regulations.
