Kandal Provincial Police visited An Giang Provincial Border Guard

On the morning of July 19, a delegation of officers from the Kandal Provincial Police Department (Kingdom of Cambodia), led by Lieutenant General Chhoeurn Sochet (Director), visited, congratulated, and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command, on the occasion of the merger of the Border Guards of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces, establishing the Provincial Border Guard Command.

Lieutenant General Chhoeurn Sochet presented a gift to congratulate Colonel Pham Van Thang.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General Chhoeurn Sochet sent his best wishes to all officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command; congratulated Colonel Pham Van Thang on being assigned the duties of Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Commander of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command.

Over the years, the two sides' forces have cooperated very well in protecting border sovereignty , fighting and suppressing all types of crimes, including drug crimes, human trafficking, high-tech crimes, etc.

Kandal Provincial Police presented flowers and congratulated officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command.

Lieutenant General Chhoeurn Sochet believes that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to cooperate in the spirit of neighborliness, friendship, respect for sovereignty, mutual trust, and together resolve issues arising on the border.

At the meeting, the delegation of officers from the Kandal Provincial Police Department delivered a letter and congratulations from General So Thet (General Department of National Police, Ministry of the Interior) and congratulations and regards from Mr. Kuach Chmroeurn (Governor of Kandal Province, Kingdom of Cambodia) to all officers and soldiers of the Border Guard of An Giang Province, and Colonel Pham Van Thang personally.

Colonel Pham Van Thang expressed his joy, respect and thanks to the Kandal Provincial Police delegation for their visit and best wishes to the officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard. In the coming time, the two sides will regularly exchange information related to the political security situation, social order and safety; continue to propagate to the people about the long-standing fine traditions between the two nations and armed forces of the two countries.

At the same time, specific tasks will be implemented to promote economic development, maintain political stability, and social order and safety in the border areas, and join hands to build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and mutually developing border.
