Catching up with these advantages, right from the beginning of 2025, Dak Nong Aluminum Company - TKV immediately launched a 90-day and night production competition movement. With the goal of reaching 185,000 tons of converted alumina or more in the first quarter of 2025. Alumina consumption output reaches 175,000 tons or more.

“The company continues to do a good job of site clearance compensation, preparing for stable and long-term production areas. In particular, coordinating with the locality to strive for the area of ​​clean land to be handed over for exploitation in the first quarter of 2025 to reach 18 hectares or more,” informed Mr. Nguyen Ba Phong, Director of Dak Nong Aluminum Company - TKV.

Dak Nong is focusing on removing difficulties and increasing exploitation area to help ensure production materials for Dak Nong Aluminum Company - TKV.

The Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project of Tran Hong Quan Metallurgy Company Limited is also expected to create breakthroughs for the development of the province's industry when it comes into operation in 2025, with a capacity of 150,000 tons of aluminum/year.

The project has so far completed the construction of items and technical infrastructure, with a total investment of about 2,100 billion VND.

After many efforts of all levels and sectors, the difficulties and obstacles in implementing the project have been resolved. Currently, the Dak Nong Industrial Park Management Board has granted the investment certificate for the project (3rd adjustment).

The Provincial People's Committee is urging and directing relevant units to implement and continue to accompany the investor to speed up the progress, to soon put the factory into production in the near future.

Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project is expected to come into operation in 2025, with a capacity of 150,000 tons of aluminum/year.

Duc Giang Fertilizer Factory - Dak Nong officially came into operation, with a designed capacity of 200,000 tons of NPK and 4,800 tons of Potassium Sulfate/year, which is also creating new added value for the industry of the whole province.

Factories such as cassava starch, hydroelectricity, solar power, wind power... are mobilized to operate at maximum capacity. These are favorable stepping stones to create momentum for the industrial sector to make a breakthrough in the sprint year of 2025.

In 2024, some of Dak Nong's main industrial products increased compared to the same period, such as: burnt clay construction bricks increased by 15.57%; plywood from wood and similar materials increased by 11.6%; cassava starch increased by 32.96%; peanuts, dried soybeans increased by 58.98%; commercial electricity increased by 5.29%; production electricity increased by 4.51%; tap water increased by 7.02%; sawn stone for tiling increased by 21.22%; aluminum increased by 0.91%...

Focus on removing obstacles

In 2025, Dak Nong strives for an 8% increase in the industrial production index (IIP). In case the wind power projects under implementation are dismantled and commercial power is generated, the province's IIP will strive to reach over 13%.

Dak Nong is coordinating to remove difficulties for wind power projects to come into operation soon.

Dak Nong Industry and Trade Department believes that with the highest determination and greatest effort, if Dak Nong's difficulties and obstacles are soon resolved, it will fully exploit its potentials, strengths and existing resources to achieve a breakthrough in growth.

Specifically, the difficulties related to mineral planning and the VIII electricity planning will be resolved drastically, creating conditions for the province to implement key projects and works and projects under the National Target Programs on schedule.

Including projects such as: wind power projects that have been invested and put into operation; Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant invested according to the committed schedule; projects of ore - alumina - aluminum processing plant complexes with selected investors; hydropower projects that have completed investment and generated commercial electricity...

Dak Nong continues to support and facilitate the stable production of Nhan Co Alumina Factory.

At the same time, it will provide more effective support so that the investment in the construction of the Aluminum Electrolysis Plant can be completed soon and put into operation at the designed capacity of Phase I.

Along with that, the Industry and Trade Department will coordinate with relevant units to advise and urge to accelerate the progress of infrastructure investment in Nhan Co 2 Industrial Park.
