A series of exciting new events attracting locals and tourists to the port city officially launched on the afternoon and evening of June 1st at Vu Yen Island Park, in Thuy Nguyen district ( Hai Phong city).
On the afternoon and evening of June 1st, at Vu Yen Island Park, Vinhomes Royal Island launched the Vinpearl Horse Academy Vu Yen, the Vu Yen Park pedestrian street, and hosted the spectacular Wonder Island international music festival.
These vibrant events mark the beginning of a new and attractive tourist destination in the Northeast region, and also the first step in a series of large-scale cultural, artistic , and sporting festivals in Thuy Nguyen - a "city within Hai Phong city" that is taking shape in the near future.
These new and exciting activities are expected to be highlights that will create new momentum for Hai Phong tourism to continue its strong development.
Vinpearl Horse Academy Vu Yen is a professional, well-invested equestrian academy spanning 30 hectares with 300 stables, multi-level training areas, a nearly 1-hectare multi-purpose equestrian performance arena with elevated grandstands, a recreational horse racing track, an off-road riding area, and other amenities.
Currently, the academy owns over 100 horses of many rare and purebred breeds from around the world, such as Quarter, the "king of speed," Lipizzan, the "white prince," Akhal Teke, the "heavenly horse," "the most beautiful horse in the world," and adorable Pony horses under 1.4m tall that delight children…
At the Vinhomes Royal Island center, the Vu Yen Park pedestrian street was also inaugurated on the afternoon of June 1st.
Stretching 2km along the Cam River, with the highlight being the K-Park Korean Cultural Park and the European Royal Square, Vu Yen Park Pedestrian Street will offer many new, unique, and attractive experiences for tourists in the key economic region of Northeast Vietnam.
This place brings together unique photo spots such as an artistic fountain, a carousel, rotating cups, and a thrilling skydrop, along with exciting culinary experiences typical of Hai Phong's food tours.
On weekends, this pedestrian street will feature water shows combined with 3D mapping of "Phoenix Reborn," inspired by the rebirth of the phoenix, and dazzling fireworks displays, attracting tourists to experience and enjoy the entertainment.
That evening, the Wonder Island music festival, the first of its kind in Hai Phong, took place with great fanfare at the European Royal Square.
The explosive performances by stars with huge fan bases such as XIUMIN - a member of the famous Korean boy band EXO, singers Tang Duy Tan, Min, Vu Phung Tien, DJ Gaztik… brought a vibrant atmosphere to tens of thousands of visitors.
