This is the second part of the Spider-Man animated series, after the first part Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse "stormed" global theaters in 2018, earning up to 384 million USD while the production budget was only 90 million USD.

American screenwriters and producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord have set out to combine art and emotion in Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse . The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson and features the voices of a host of renowned artists.
One year after the events of the previous film, Miles Morales (aka Spider-Man) faces a new threat. Unfortunately, it brings him into contact with a new group of Spider-Men from across the multiverse. The film follows Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) as he embarks on a new mission with his love interest Gwen Stacy (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) to save the multiverse's Spider-Men from disaster.
"Before seeing Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse , I wasn't sure what I was getting . It's been five years since the fantastic Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse . But it 's completely blown me away. I was emotionally burned by this sequel. When the film ended and the credits started rolling, I could hear sobs in the theater. The audience gasped and then applauded. Honestly, this is one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen. Not only does it bring a fresh take on a pretty stale genre, but the storytelling is superb. I think the plot might be a little hard for younger kids to follow, but they'll love the action, humor, and wild animation that's truly unlike anything they've ever seen."
Writer Clayton Davis commented in Variety : "Anyone who has ever struggled to live their dreams against their parents' expectations or loved someone so wonderfully but had to overcome many challenges will understand Miles Morales."

Being a superhero has never been easy. Behind the "halo" is a messy personal life. This achievement helps Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse become the summer blockbuster with the highest opening revenue of 2023, surpassing the 118.3 million USD of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 not long ago.
In Vietnam, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has earned approximately 24 billion VND since its release on June 1.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse brings extremely epic and dramatic battles. Fans will find it hard to sit still when witnessing a series of familiar versions of Spider-Man confronting each other in an extremely attractive way.
As of now, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has a score of 9.1/10 on IMDb and a 97% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Clayton Davis has openly suggested that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences - the organizers of the annual Oscars - should nominate and award the Best Picture award to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
