Over 220 voters from Phu My, Tan Hai, and Tan Phuoc wards – belonging to Constituency No. 4 for National Assembly Deputies and Constituency No. 11 for Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Deputies – attended the conference.

The five candidates for the National Assembly include: Mr. Le Khanh Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Office of the President ; Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor; Mr. Le Ngoc Son, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports; and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command.
The five candidates for the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council are: Mr. Tran Ba Lan, Deputy Head of the Emergency Department at People's Hospital 115; Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria Ward; Mr. Bui Chi Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Phu My Ward; Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Head of the Urban Planning Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

At the conference, voter Thich Thien Phu (Van Thien Pagoda, Phu My Ward) expressed his hope that the candidate would focus on urban infrastructure development, ensuring social welfare, caring for the material and spiritual lives of the people; creating conditions for lawful religious activities, while maintaining national defense and security, and social order and safety.

Voter Bui Huy Ngu (Tan Phuoc ward) hopes that the elected candidate will fulfill their commitments, regularly engage closely with the grassroots, and follow up on the resolution of voters' requests. He also requested attention to and resolution of the shortage of medicines covered by health insurance, and suggested increasing investment in equipment and personnel for grassroots healthcare to reduce the burden on higher-level hospitals.

Meanwhile, voter Truong Duc Loc (Phu My ward) suggested paying attention to stabilizing market prices, especially gasoline and diesel prices; strengthening control and strictly handling the situation of counterfeit medicine and fake milk; and proposing solutions to reduce traffic congestion in the city.

* Later that same day, candidates for the National Assembly in Constituency No. 4 and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council in Constituency No. 11 continued their meetings with voters in Tan Thanh Ward.
Voters requested attention to infrastructure development, education , healthcare, improvement of living conditions, and enhanced oversight of the resolution of citizens' petitions at the local level.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, a candidate for the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, pledged to strengthen contact with voters, listen to and fully convey the opinions of the people to the competent authorities; and at the same time, monitor and supervise the resolution process until results are achieved, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the People's Council's operations.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, a candidate for the National Assembly, affirmed that he will honestly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters to the National Assembly; participate in building and perfecting policies and laws in the field of national defense and security, contributing to protecting the Fatherland from early on and from afar.
Mr. Le Ngoc Son, a candidate for the National Assembly, also pledged to promote the transition to green energy, strengthen environmental protection monitoring, and develop modern industrial-energy clusters, while ensuring social welfare and improving people's lives.
Other candidates pledged to fulfill their roles as people's representatives effectively, regularly engaging with constituents, promptly reflecting the people's suggestions; and participating in the development of sustainable socio-economic policies, proposing infrastructure investment, ensuring social security, improving education and the living environment.
