Along with more than 1.1 million candidates nationwide, Thanh Hoa province has 41,577 candidates registered to take the exam at 85 exam sites with about 1,800 exam rooms. Based on the assigned tasks, Thanh Hoa PC has focused on checking and handling existing points on power lines and transformer stations; clearing the corridors, replacing damaged equipment to prevent unexpected incidents. At the same time, maintaining regular inspections of equipment status at exam sites, closely coordinating with the exam council to grasp the demand for electricity, organizing inspections of the electrical system in the school campus and exam rooms to ensure absolute safety for candidates and exam invigilators throughout the exam period.
Thanh Hoa Electricity Company directed units to arrange backup generators at exam sites.
In addition, to proactively respond to emerging situations, PC Thanh Hoa has arranged enough backup generators at important locations such as exam printing and copying locations, exam councils and exam grading areas. A 24/7 on-call force is deployed throughout the exam period, ready to handle any incidents quickly, without interruption due to power-related factors.
On this occasion, the youth union members at the power units coordinated with the locality to implement the program "Supporting the exam season" with many practical activities such as: supporting candidates to find the right exam location and room, providing free drinking water... while integrating propaganda on safe, economical and efficient use of electricity.
