The competition was also widely publicized on social media, targeting the Vietnamese community abroad and foreigners. As a result, nearly 600 foreign authors and approximately 270 Vietnamese authors living abroad registered to participate.

This is the second year the competition has been held online on the Vietnam Image Promotion Platform at https://vietnam.vn. Compared to 2023, the competition has seen a significant increase in participation, with authors from all 63 provinces and cities. Hanoi led in the number of entries, followed by Quang Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City. As a result, after 7 months of launching (from March 20, 2024 to October 15, 2024), the Organizing Committee received more than 10,300 photo and video entries.

According to the Organizing Committee, the competition is a testament to the patriotic spirit and dedication of people across the country to promoting the image of our nation, its people, and its beautiful cultural traditions to the international community. At the same time, the competition also demonstrates a new trend in social media communication, based on the application of digital technology , digital platforms, and mobilizing the strength of the entire population in developing digital data to effectively serve information and propaganda work.

Many works presented a fresh, objective perspective on life, society, and the development of Vietnam and its people, conveying a message of a happy, civilized, and prosperous Vietnam. The competition also provided authors with special journeys, allowing them to meet, honor, and spread the image and values ​​of extraordinary individuals.

The authors come from diverse professions, age groups, ethnicities, languages, and use various devices, yet they all portray a peaceful, beautiful, dynamically developing, and happy Vietnam.
