On May 7th, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that the Firefighting and Rescue Team of Zone 30 had successfully rescued two women trapped in an elevator of a rental apartment building on D6 Street, Viet Sing Residential Area, An Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

At that time, the two women entered the elevator and pressed the button to go down to the lower floors when the elevator malfunctioned, trapping them inside and causing them to panic and call for help.

Upon receiving the information, six officers and soldiers from the team quickly approached the scene. The rescue commander swiftly deployed the team, using specialized equipment to pry open the elevator doors and access the victims trapped inside. While carrying out the rescue, the rescue team also encouraged and calmed the two people trapped inside.

After 30 minutes, the two women, Tu Thi Thanh T. (born in 2000, from An Giang province) and Duong Minh T. (born in 2007, from Kien Giang province), were rescued safely.
