On October 14th, at a conference reviewing Da Nang city's tourism activities during the first nine months of the year and outlining tasks for the fourth quarter and 2025, the city's Department of Tourism proposed a series of solutions to address difficulties and obstacles.

Among these, several solutions are noteworthy, such as the Da Nang Department of Tourism proposing that the city study and pilot the organization of a night market with a model similar to Bui Vien Street (Ho Chi Minh City), in some potential areas including: the areas along Binh Minh Street, Tran Van Tru Street, and Tran Hung Dao Street...

At the Dragon Bridge, the Da Nang Department of Tourism proposed implementing a sound and light show combined with fire and water displays themed around the "Legend of the Dragon".

Based on the fact that the Government has recently assigned the management of Son Cha Island to Da Nang, the Da Nang Department of Tourism has proposed that the city develop the Han River - Son Cha Island route and services along the route to attract investment in rest stops to serve tourists.

Specifically, invest in and construct inland waterway terminals at planned locations within Da Nang Bay, including Sung Co Beach and Ma Da Beach. Consider allowing investment in a floating pontoon bridge at a suitable location on Son Cha Island to serve recreational activities along the route.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism also recommended that the city organize more large-scale festivals; implement policies to attract tourists; and decisively address the issues of harassment, touting, and street vending in areas and streets with high tourist traffic.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in the first nine months of the year, the total number of overnight visitors to establishments in the city reached 8.67 million, an increase of 33% compared to the same period in 2023. Revenue from accommodation, food, and travel is estimated at over 26,000 billion VND.

Da Nang's major international tourist markets are, in order, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Thailand, China, India, the United States, and Japan….
