Da Nang: Two inspection teams marking exams

In Da Nang, the literature subject recorded 14,176/14,313 candidates taking the exam, reaching a rate of 99.04%; the math subject had 14,201/14,354 candidates taking the exam, reaching a rate of 98.93%.

Mr. Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, said that this year, two inspection teams for the marking of exams were established. These inspection teams were assigned to supervise all exam sites to ensure transparency, fairness and objectivity throughout the entire exam.

Regarding the exam marking, Mr. Thanh said that although Da Nang and Quang Nam are preparing to merge according to the Central Government's instructions, the exam marking will still be carried out in two separate localities. A joint exam marking council will be established according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, but the exam marking boards will still operate independently under the supervision of the joint exam council. Decisions on the organization and consolidation of the apparatus have been prepared in advance, to ensure that the progress and quality of the exam marking will not be affected after July 1 - the official date of the merger of provinces and cities.
