On the evening of May 21st, at East Sea Park, the "Da Nang Food Tour 2026" festival officially opened, marking the beginning of a large-scale tourism and culinary promotion event that will last until May 24th.

Over 200 stalls selling local and international food will be set up in the East Sea Park area (An Hai Ward, Da Nang City).
Taking place at East Sea Park, Tam Thanh beach square, and many other locations throughout the city, this year's festival is organized with a multi-sensory experience in mind, combining cuisine, art, culture, and technology to create a new mark for Da Nang's tourism industry.
According to the organizers, the "Culinary Quintessence of Quang Nam" event, taking place from May 20 to 24 at the East Sea Park, will feature more than 200 local and international stalls.
Many signature dishes such as Quang noodles, banh xeo (Vietnamese savory pancake), cao lau (Hoi An noodle dish), rice paper rolls with pork, along with Central Vietnamese seafood and international cuisine, are introduced to tourists.

The "Culinary Quintessence of Quang Nam" program will treat locals and tourists to hundreds of delicious dishes from May 20th to 24th.

Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi expressed her hope that cuisine would become a new "cultural ambassador" for the city's tourism.
Besides enjoying the food, the festival also features areas for experiencing food preparation, traditional crafts, folk games, and cultural interaction activities for visitors.
The "Colors of Quang Nam" check-in space is also invested in with large-scale scenes inspired by life in Central Vietnam such as basket boats, Quang Nam kitchens, street vendors, seaside streets, etc., combined with lighting technology to serve the needs of young people for experiencing and taking photos.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, affirmed that through "Da Nang Food Tour 2026," the city aims to make cuisine a distinctive tourism product, a new "cultural ambassador" in its journey of integration and development.
"This year's festival is also a concrete step in the strategy to build Da Nang into a leading destination for festivals, events, and cuisine in the Asian region," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.
A series of engaging activities
As part of the program, "Beer Fest Night" will take place on the evening of May 23rd, offering over 5,000 food and beer combos for visitors.
Meanwhile, the "ShopeeFood Concert" on the evening of May 24th, featuring many artists such as Noo Phuoc Thinh, Karik, Orange, DJ Mie, etc., promises to be a highlight of the festive season.
Beyond the center of Da Nang, the series of events has expanded to many other localities with the "Seafood Culinary Festival" at Tam Thanh beach square and the "Hoi An Dong Traditional Cake Festival" at Cam Chau market.
The "Danang Food Tours 2026" series, running from May to December 2026, will connect Da Nang with Hoi An, Dien Ban, Tam Ky, and Dai Loc to expand the journey of exploring the culture and cuisine of Quang Nam province.
