According to the pilot plan for the Bach Dang pedestrian street, the pedestrian area is located on the extended Bach Dang road, from the Dragon Bridge area to the Tran Thi Ly Bridge (1.2km in length), connecting to the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. Operating hours are from 3 PM to midnight every day of the week.
The pedestrian street will feature 3 clusters of mobile vending kiosks with 12 kiosks along the entire eastern sidewalk of Bach Dang Street. The kiosks will utilize 20-foot containers (6m long, 2.5m wide), which the business owners will invest in and decorate themselves. Additionally, there will be 5 clusters of mobile vending carts with 15 carts on the eastern lane of Bach Dang Street, interspersed among the kiosks.

To manage traffic on the pedestrian street, Da Nang city will use one lane on the east side of Bach Dang Street on weekdays, while the remaining three lanes will be one-way, with signs indicating a speed limit of 40km/h during certain hours and restrictions on motorized vehicles during certain times. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the city will prohibit vehicles from using the entire Bach Dang Street, from Binh Minh 10 Street to APEC Park.
After its opening, the Bach Dang pedestrian street will host musical and artistic performances; festivals, events, art activities, and street food... At the same time, the Bach Dang pedestrian street will connect with the pedestrian route across Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and Tran Hung Dao Street, as well as across Dragon Bridge, to create a tourist highlight.

According to leaders of Hai Chau district (Da Nang city), Bach Dang pedestrian street along the Han River is expected to be a new tourism service product, a unique and impressive nighttime entertainment spot. It is also considered a community space with a modern, vibrant, and novel atmosphere, meeting the needs of locals and tourists for recreation, entertainment, and culinary exploration.
