The Seoul Smart City Award is selected and awarded by the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO) and the Seoul City government.
The jury panel includes experts in the field of smart cities from artificial intelligence (AI), data management, e-government, social organizations, non-governmental organizations, and development cooperation. international, urban planning and urban development.
This award aims to promote innovative smart city models, shortening the digital gap in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
The award includes two categories: Tech-InnovaCity and Human CentriCity.
Da Nang City was honored in the Human Centricity content for its achievements in serving the people, taking people as the center in innovation, applying science and technology, towards building a smart city.
Previously, in 2019, Da Nang City was awarded the Smart City award by the Asia and Oceania Computing Organization (ASOCIO Smart City). Currently, in addition to being an official member of WeGO, Da Nang is a member of the ASEAN Smart City Network (ASCN).
