Da Nang: Implementing plans to serve the peak tourist season and DIFF 2025.

On the morning of April 23, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Le Trung Chinh, chaired a meeting on the implementation of the plan to serve the peak tourist season in 2025 and the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2025.

According to the report, during the April 30th - May 1st holiday, there will be more than 15 attractive activities and events; the "2025 Sea Flower Street" will be put into service for residents and tourists. The overall occupancy rate of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments during this holiday is estimated to reach 75-80%. During the summer tourist season, the city will have 20 activities and events to serve tourists, with 8 main activities. It is expected that the number of guests served by accommodation establishments in the period from June to August will increase by 10% compared to the same period in 2024. The Department of Tourism has implemented communication and promotion of the destination; launched stimulus programs to attract tourists; and ensured service quality and security. Regarding the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025, it will take place from May 31st to July 12th, with 6 nights of fireworks displays, in the Han River Port area. This year's grandstand has been expanded to 12,870 seats per night, an increase of nearly 2,700 seats per night compared to last year, located on the sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao Street. The Department of Culture and Sports and Sun Group have coordinated with relevant units to develop the artistic program; live television broadcast; issues related to consultants, participating teams, fireworks procurement and import; ticket types; reception arrangements; the judging panel; and accompanying activities.
