Delegates attending the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

This morning (October 16), before the opening of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), term 2024-2029, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the VFF, 9th term, heads of delegations, and overseas Vietnamese attending the congress visited the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien, led the Presidium of the 9th term and the heads of the delegations attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in respectfully laying wreaths and paying respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the memorial ceremony were: Mr. Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Huu Dung, Hoang Cong Thuy, To Thi Bich Chau; delegates from the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th term; heads of delegations; and Vietnamese people living abroad.

With boundless gratitude, the delegation expressed their profound respect and remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh's immense contributions to the building and consolidation of national unity. The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

President Ho Chi Minh continuously built and perfected a system of views on national unity, actively consolidating the ideology of unity among all strata of the people. He believed that national unity was a strategic issue, xuyên suốt the process of the Vietnamese revolution.

The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the term 2024-2029, with the motto "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development," will take place from October 16-18, 2024 in Hanoi.

The Congress is tasked with comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019-2024.

This outlines the direction, objectives, tasks, and action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the new term. These tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front contribute to promoting democracy, strengthening the great national unity, and building a country that is increasingly prosperous, civilized, and happy.
