FPT University has moved up to the 601-800 ranking in the global university rankings for sustainable development - THE Impact Rankings, after a year in the 801-1000 group.
The rankings are published by the prestigious Times Higher Education ( THE) magazine. This year, FPT University participated in the assessment across five goals: SDG 4 - Quality Education; SDG 8 - Sustainable Economic Growth and Employment; SDG 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 16 - Peace , Equity and Strong Institutions; and SDG 17 - Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Goals.
Specifically, SGD 4 - Quality Education was highly rated, ranking 201-300 out of 1,304 universities globally and second in Vietnam, only after Hanoi National University. This target was established to assess how a university's development of quality education contributes to sustainable societal development.
In the SGD 4 evaluation categories, FPT University achieved near-maximum scores (98.5/100 points) in the "lifelong learning for learners" category. The university's curriculum focuses on equipping students with self-learning abilities and developing proactive learning skills, enabling them to adapt well to diverse learning environments with vast and rapidly changing knowledge.
In addition, the university has a policy of providing free Coursera accounts to alumni, aiming to encourage lifelong learning and contribute to enhancing the research capabilities of the community. The university also scored approximately 80/100 in the "first generation university" category, with policies that encourage and expand access to education for first-generation university students.

Furthermore, "SDG 17 - Collaboration for SDG Goals" is a mandatory goal for 100% of participating universities in the ranking, and it has the highest assessment of educational quality. FPT University is ranked in the 401-600 group in this goal.
