FPT University expands training programs to meet future job needs and trends

(Dan Tri) - The 2026 training catalog of FPT University (FPTU) includes many new majors in the fields of: Computer Science, Communication Technology, Business Administration, Law and Languages.

As AI, data and automation are reshaping the global labor market, the jobs of the next 5-10 years will be very different from the present. The question of “what major to study to suit the future?” has therefore become a major concern for parents and students.

Faced with this shift,FPT University will expand its training portfolio in 2026, helping candidates not only choose the major they want to study today, but also prepare their capacity for future jobs that are taking shape.

FPTU's 2026 training portfolio includes many new majors such as Applied Data Science , Integrated Marketing Communications, Brand Communications, E-commerce, Entertainment and Event Management, Customer Experience Management, Purchasing Management, Business Analytics and Business Language majors (English - Korean - Chinese).

In 2026, FPTU launched the Talented Bachelor Program in Computer Science - an elite training program with selective entrance standards and in-depth orientation for students with outstanding technological abilities.

The program includes two key majors: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cyber ​​Security and Digital Safety - fields that are being prioritized for recruitment by the world's leading technology, financial, commercial and manufacturing corporations.

The addition of new majors was built by FPTU based on market data analysis, global career forecasts and business consultation in the FPT ecosystem, to ensure that students learn the right competencies that the future market will require.

From those analyses, FPTU restructured the program according to three key orientation groups of future jobs: Technology - AI - data, Modern business - services and Media - creativity - digital content.

FPTU's training model closely combines academics and practical experience through OJT (On the Job Training) semesters, projects "ordered" directly from businesses, lab - studio - innovation hub system, international exchange programs and multidisciplinary project communities.
