Vietnam U22 striker talks about controversial goal in match against Laos U22

Responding to the above goal in today's training session of U22 Vietnam, Quoc Viet shared: "Honestly, at that time, the whole team just reacted based on their feelings. Many of us did not think that the main referee would change the decision of the assistant referee. I am happy that the goal was recognized for U22 Vietnam."

“The first match is always difficult, but coach Kim Sang Sik told us that getting three points is the most important thing. It’s a bit regretful that I couldn’t score a goal in yesterday’s match,” Quoc Viet added.

The next opponent of U22 Vietnam at SEA Games 33 will be U22 Malaysia. This is a rival with a lot of fate with Vietnamese football.

Quoc Viet said about this opponent: "I have faced Malaysia's youth teams many times, so I am very confident when meeting them. The goal of U22 Vietnam against U22 Malaysia is to win 3 points."

Currently, U22 Vietnam has an injured player, midfielder Xuan Bac. However, the injury of the player playing for Viettel The Cong Club is not too serious. Xuan Bac is expected to return to the field within the next 2-3 days.
