(Dan Tri Newspaper) - After 5 days of work, the 14th National Congress of the Party concluded very successfully. 100% of delegates agreed to approve the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

According to the announcement regarding the closing session of the 14th National Congress of the Party on the afternoon of January 23, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Presidium, chaired the closing session of the Congress.

Attending the closing session were invited guests including former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, as well as former members of the Central Committee of the Party from the 4th to the 8th terms; delegates including Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, prominent intellectuals, artists, religious dignitaries, and outstanding young people.

Also attending the closing session of the Congress were ambassadors, chargés d'affaires of various countries, and heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Vietnam.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh, on behalf of the Secretariat, presented the announcement regarding congratulatory messages from political parties, organizations, international friends, and overseas Vietnamese to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Since the opening session, the Congress has received an additional 339 congratulatory letters and telegrams, including 58 political parties, 11 international and regional organizations, 62 individuals, 120 overseas people's and local organizations, and 88 Vietnamese associations abroad.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Presidium and the entire Congress, thanked the political parties, organizations, international friends, and overseas Vietnamese for sending telegrams and letters congratulating the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Mr. Tran Thanh Man, member of the Politburo and Chairman of the National Assembly, on behalf of the Presidium, reported on the results of the election of the Politburo, the General Secretary, the Secretariat, the Central Inspection Committee, and the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.

In that session, the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam unanimously elected Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the 13th Central Committee, to continue serving as General Secretary of the 14th Party Congress.

Following that, the 14th Central Committee of the Party was introduced to the Congress. General Secretary To Lam, on behalf of the 14th Central Committee, delivered a speech.

The Congress presented flowers, acknowledged, and thanked the members of the 13th Central Committee of the Party who were not re-elected for the 14th term for their contributions.

Tran Cam Tu, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, on behalf of the Presidium, reported on the Presidium's responses and explanations regarding the opinions discussed on the draft documents and the Report on the review of the leadership and direction of the 13th Central Committee of the Party presented to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, member of the Politburo of the 14th Party Congress, Chief of the Central Party Office, and Head of the Secretariat, presented the draft Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Congress voted unanimously, with 100% of delegates agreeing to adopt the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.

The 14th National Congress of the Party was a great success. The Congress called on the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army of the country, and our compatriots abroad to highly promote the spirit of patriotism, the sense of civic responsibility, and the aspiration for development.

Every agency, unit, organization, and individual should begin with the most concrete tasks, contributing to the daily development of our country, the increasing prosperity and happiness of our people; and the growing strength of Vietnam, enabling it to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading powers, as President Ho Chi Minh always wished.

At 8 PM today, a special art program titled "Under the Glorious Banner of the Party" will take place at My Dinh National Stadium, broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television (VTV).

This event celebrates the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Party and looks forward to the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026).

The program is spearheaded by the Hanoi City Party Committee, organized by the Hanoi City People's Committee in collaboration with VTV through a socialized model, with Sun Group as a co-organizer and sponsor.
