The player, currently playing for Binh Phuoc Club, added: "The months I spent playing in Japan were challenging but also incredibly memorable. I experienced a top-tier professional football environment where discipline, speed, and precision are paramount. Every training session, every match was an opportunity to learn and develop myself. Despite the difficulties, it was through these experiences that I matured and understood the value of perseverance and continuous effort."

Cong Phuong remains involved with Japanese football, but in a different way.

The choice of Cong Phuong as the broadcast ambassador for J-League 1 in Vietnam is appropriate. The striker from Nghe An province played for Mito Hollyhock in 2016 and was with Yokohama FC from December 2022 to September 2024. At this time, Cong Phuong's appeal to the public remains strong. The former HAGL player, and Vietnamese national team players like Van Lam, Hoang Duc, etc., are helping to make the first division more attractive.

Cong Phuong will participate in promotional activities for the J-League with fans in Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duy, representative of Huu Tin Company, the owner of the broadcasting rights for J-League 1 in Vietnam, affirmed: "We are very pleased that Cong Phuong has agreed to become a broadcasting ambassador for this league.
