Dak Lak: Vong Phu Mountain

Mount Vọng Phu (or Mother Carrying Child Mountain) is located in the Trường Sơn mountain range in the southern Central Highlands, bordering the provinces of Đắk Lắk and Khánh Hòa. Locals call this mountain Chư H'mu (Čư Hmŭ - the mountain of the woman) in the Êđê language, in remembrance of Queen Bia Than Can, whose real name was H'Drah Hjan Kpă (1630 - 1654) - one of the queens of Po Romé, king of the Champa Dynasty.
