Dak Nong approved more than 550 million VND to implement staff streamlining

On the morning of September 20, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council Luu Van Trung chaired the 57th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council to review issues arising between the two sessions.

At the meeting, delegates focused on giving opinions on issues arising between the two sessions and resolving a number of other issues within their authority.

The meeting worked with a spirit of concentration and responsibility to analyze, evaluate and clarify the submissions of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee.

In particular, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council unanimously approved Document No. 5423/TTr-UBND dated September 10, 2024 of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee on supplementing more than 550 million VND in funding to implement the policy of streamlining staff for the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Provincial Labor Federation and Provincial Farmers' Association, Provincial Veterans' Association.

Head of the Economic-Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dinh Dao analyzed and clarified the contents related to the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council unanimously approved the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee such as: Submission No. 5492/TTr-UBND dated September 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on unifying the authority to decide on investment and procurement of information technology application activities using regular expenditure funds from the State budget in the province for digital transformation tasks and information technology application activities assigned in the 2024 budget.

Regarding the proposal to amend regulations on fees and charges to encourage online public services, comrade Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dak Nong province requested relevant units to review and amend, if necessary, submit for consideration to issue a new resolution.

Report No. 5493/TTr-UBND dated September 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on supplementing the 2024 budget estimate. It allows the use of more than 480 million VND from the budget fund for arising tasks, focusing on social security policies and internal and external affairs to supplement the regular expenditure estimate for the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board in 2024.

Submission No. 5420/TTr-UBND dated September 10, 2024 and Submission No. 5491/TTr-UBND dated September 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on registering additional content and list of proposed resolutions to be submitted to the 11th Thematic Session and the 9th Session of the Provincial People's Council, term IV, 2021-2026.

The meeting also agreed to hold a thematic meeting in October 2024.

Comrade Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dak Nong province requested relevant units to focus on revising and supplementing the agreed contents.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, requested relevant units to edit and supplement the submissions according to the agreed content to ensure feasibility and suitability to reality.

Regarding the proposal to amend regulations on fees and charges to encourage online public services, comrade Luu Van Trung requested relevant units to review and amend, if necessary, submit for consideration to issue a new resolution.
