On April 8th, Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong province, signed Decision No. 1778-QD/TU of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the development of the plan for rearranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units.

Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Dak Nong Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, serves as the Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Project on rearranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units.

Accordingly, the Steering Committee for the implementation of the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units consists of 32 members, chaired by Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Mr. Luu Van Trung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, serves as the Permanent Vice Chairman. Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Mr. Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, are Vice Chairmen of the Steering Committee.

The Steering Committee is tasked with advising the Provincial Party Standing Committee on leading and directing relevant agencies and units to implement the plan for rearranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units in accordance with the correct principles and standards, ensuring that local governments at the grassroots level are close to the people, serve the people, and are responsive to their needs.

The Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department is the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee. The Department of Internal Affairs is responsible for advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, coordinating with the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department to prepare the content to be submitted to the Steering Committee for the implementation of tasks related to the reorganization of administrative units in the province.
