Pig price today June 30: Following the downward trend in some localities

The price of live pigs today is on a downward trend in some localities in the Central and Southern regions. Meanwhile, the market for live pigs in the North continues to remain stable. Currently, live pigs across the country are purchased by traders at around 66,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.

In the Northern region

According to records recorded at the beginning of the week (June 30), the price of live pigs in the Northern region continued to maintain a horizontal trend, maintaining the selling price from 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the level of 69,000 VND/kg appeared in Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh , Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang.

Meanwhile, Yen Bai , Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh are selling live pigs at 68,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

Pig prices in the Central Highlands region decreased by VND 1,000/kg in some localities this morning.

After adjustment, live pigs in Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan are at 70,000 VND/kg; Quang Binh is at 68,000 VND/kg; Quang Nam , Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak are all purchasing at 67,000 VND/kg; Binh Dinh is at 66,000 VND/kg. Live pigs in this area are being purchased at around 66,000 - 71,000 VND/kg.

The southern pig market also witnessed a downward trend in prices in some localities. Accordingly, pigs in this area are being traded at around 69,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.

In particular, after the same price reduction, live pigs in Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai decreased to 71,000 VND/kg; Tay Ninh, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang all returned to 70,000 VND/kg. Currently, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ca Mau are the localities with the highest live pig prices in the country, reaching 72,000 VND/kg.
