| Strengthen inspections of the power grid system at polling stations. |
According to regulations, Hue City has established 4 electoral units for National Assembly representatives; 14 City People's Council election committees; 228 commune/ward People's Council election committees; and 676 polling stations in polling areas, including 15 separate polling areas at armed forces units, medical facilities, etc. All these locations have been surveyed and classified by Hue Power Company according to their management areas to conduct inspections of the power grid system, assess the load, and develop appropriate power supply plans.
Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc, Director of Hue Power Company, said that to ensure stable power supply for the election, Hue Power Company directed its subordinate units to strengthen inspections and reviews of the entire power grid system, especially the power lines supplying polling stations and election committee headquarters. Any detected problems or defects in the power grid were promptly rectified to minimize the risk of incidents.
In addition, regional power management teams are deployed with operational and incident response personnel on duty 24/7, organized into groups and clusters to enable rapid deployment to the site of an emergency. Backup vehicles, equipment, and generators are also prepared to promptly restore power to priority areas in case of a power outage.
