Dam Doi organizes the closing ceremony of the Khmer summer class 2025.

On August 29, 2025, Dam Doi Commune People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the 2025 summer Khmer class at Salatel in Dong Tam A hamlet.

It is known that recently, the People's Committee of Dam Doi commune organized 3 Khmer summer teaching points in Dong Tam A hamlet and Dong Tam B hamlet during the summer.

There are 76 students attending the class, of which 68 are Khmer and 8 are Kinh. There are 3 classes in total, including 2 grade 1 and 1 grade 2.

Here, students learn and practice the Khmer alphabet, pronounce and write correctly, and are guided in basic reading and writing skills for daily communication in Khmer.

Also in class, children participate in games, performances, and singing and dancing in Khmer to inspire them and introduce the culture and customs of the Khmer people.

This is a meaningful activity. Maintaining and implementing well the annual organization of teaching and learning Khmer script contributes to preserving the language and writing, promoting the traditional cultural identity of ethnic minorities in the localities.
