Ms. Loan Tran (from Hoa Binh province ) said that every year she personally prepares the offering tray for the God of Wealth's Day. She prefers preparing a well-prepared offering tray rather than buying gold. For her, the size of the offering tray doesn't matter as long as it reflects her sincerity when placed on the altar on the God of Wealth's Day.
Ms. Loan said that she prepares crab, shrimp, sticky rice, pork, etc., to offer to the God of Wealth or as part of the "three-animal offering" ritual. "Three-animal offering" refers to three animals living in three different environments: animals living on land (representing Earth), animals living in water (representing Water), and animals living in the sky (representing Heaven).
These steamed buns with mung bean filling are homemade by Ms. Loan.
Ms. Loan prepared glutinous rice balls in sweet soup for the offering on the 10th day of the first lunar month.
Ms. Han Huong Thuy (38 years old, from Hanoi ) also prepared an offering to the God of Wealth, hoping for a year of good health, peace, prosperity, and good fortune for her family.
She personally prepared the offering tray for the God of Wealth's Day and felt happy and joyful admiring the tray repeatedly without getting tired of it.
