The Party Committee of the Department of Health admits new party members

On May 19, at the special national relic of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site on Co To Island, the Party Committee of the Department of Health held a ceremony to announce and award Party membership decisions to 12 outstanding people at the grassroots Party cells under its management. The ceremony took place in a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023); 60 years of the establishment of Quang Ninh province (October 30, 1963 - October 30, 2023).

Before the admission ceremony, the Party Committee of the Quang Ninh Department of Health, on behalf of more than 8,000 medical staff in the province, offered flowers and incense to commemorate the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and his great contributions to the Vietnamese people, and reported to Uncle Ho about the efforts of the Quang Ninh Health sector in performing the task of caring for and protecting people's health, especially during the 3 years of the Covid-19 pandemic. The health system has made an important contribution to helping Quang Ninh achieve the highest vaccination rate in the top 5 nationwide. Specialized health care, preventive health care, and grassroots health care continue to achieve many positive results.

In addition, the province has invested in building many new medical units, upgrading and expanding them to be modern and spacious with many amenities: Geriatric Hospital - Rehabilitation; CDC Quang Ninh building; Lung Hospital..., investing in developing high-quality human resources. Thereby meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of people in the province, the quality of healthcare in the province is constantly improving. By the end of 2022, the whole province will have 55 hospital beds, 14.85 doctors, 2.6 university pharmacists and 23 nurses per 10,000 people. The rate of population participating in health insurance will reach over 95%.

At the statue of Uncle Ho, the newly admitted party members took an oath to clearly express their determination and absolute loyalty to the Party's revolutionary goals and ideals; strictly abide by the Party's Political Platform, Party regulations, resolutions and directives, and the State's laws; successfully complete all assigned tasks; absolutely obey the Party's assignment and mobilization; constantly study, practice, improve their knowledge, working capacity, political qualities, revolutionary ethics, have a healthy lifestyle; fight against individualism, opportunism, localism, bureaucracy, corruption, waste and negative manifestations.
