Training on heritage conservation associated with community tourism at Dia Tren paper village

On July 25, at the Dia Tren Village Cultural House, Quang Uyen Commune, the Cao Bang Non Nuoc Geopark Management Board coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a training conference on heritage conservation associated with sustainable tourism development for the community for 64 households living in Dia Tren paper village.

The training content focuses on the role of the community in heritage conservation, skills in community tourism associated with traditional craft villages, how to effectively exploit cultural values to serve local economic and tourism development; instructions on arranging craft village spaces in households; work to promote craft village values associated with tourism development...

The program is part of a series of activities to implement the task of developing heritage spaces in the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark in 2025, aiming to raise awareness and capacity for local people in protecting and effectively exploiting local cultural, historical and natural heritages, towards building a community tourism model associated with traditional craft villages in the locality.
