The art program "Immortal Epic" is an annual program organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with revolutionary contributions who sacrificed and contributed to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland. This is one of the special and meaningful activities, demonstrating the nation's morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", at the same time, contributing to strengthening the education of revolutionary traditions and the responsibility of generations, especially the young generation, towards the homeland.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that 78 years have passed since July 27, 1947 - a day that has gone down in history as a symbol of gratitude and the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree", that morality is the red thread running through the flow of Vietnamese national culture. To have today, millions of outstanding children have fallen for the Fatherland to "bloom with independence, bear fruit with freedom". Responding to that great sacrifice not only with words, but also with concrete actions is the responsibility of each of us, of the entire political system and the whole society.

Implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on promoting the work of "Repaying gratitude" and preserving traditional ethics, in recent times, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has carried out many practical tasks, contributing to strongly spreading the spirit of gratitude throughout society.
Specifically, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directed and coordinated the organization of many cultural and artistic activities and events from the central to the grassroots levels, especially in revolutionary bases, red addresses, and martyrs' cemeteries. In addition, it has also combined with gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution, war invalids, sick soldiers, and policy families across the country.
Revolutionary historical sites, martyrs’ cemeteries, and works honoring heroic martyrs nationwide continue to be preserved and restored. Creatively invested works of cinema, theater, fine arts, photography, literature, etc. have vividly portrayed the images of soldiers, mothers, and Vietnamese people in war and peace. Contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism, fostering national pride among all classes of people, especially the younger generation.
According to the Deputy Minister, culture and art are not only a means of creativity, but also a language of gratitude. The special art program "Immortal Epic" with the theme "Lullaby of the Country" is an epic filled with humanity, connecting national memories with the present, arousing gratitude and pride in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
"Lullaby of the Country" is a symbolic image of the silent and great sacrifice of Vietnamese mothers - those who saw their husbands and children off to the battlefield in tears, and then turned that love into an immortal flame for the nation. It is also the lullaby of the motherland for the immortal heroes, for today's generation to live a worthy life, to live with faith, ideals and responsibility.

"Through elaborately staged and emotional performances, the program is an artistic journey with music, images and emotions, recreating the heroic spirit of previous generations. At the same time, it conveys a message of gratitude as a source of continuity and strength to build the future. And above all, the message of the art program is a heartfelt message: "We do not forget! The people do not forget!", Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong emphasized.
Accordingly, with 3 chapters: "Lullaby in the storm"; "Lullaby of the country"; "Lullaby of peace continues the dreams", the program brought viewers back to the arduous but heroic years of the nation. The touching images, stories and special art performances by famous singers and artists such as: People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Pham Thu Ha, Violinist Tran Quang Duy, Singer Dang Duong, Viet Danh, Khanh Chi, Thanh Tai, Thu Hang, MTV Group, ... created an artistic space that is both profound and sacred.
The special art program "Immortal Epic" with the theme "Lullaby of the Country" has contributed to arousing pride and deep gratitude to the previous generation - those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, thereby further appreciating the value of peace today.
