MU ready to spend 60 million euros for PSG star

Manchester United have joined the race to sign striker Randal Kolo Muani, ready to outbid offers from Serie A clubs.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport , the “Red Devils” are considering recruiting the French player as part of coach Ruben Amorim's plan to strengthen his attack, especially as the team is looking to improve their scoring ability after a forgettable 2024/25 season.

After failing to sign Hugo Ekitike or Viktor Gyokeres, Manchester United need to add a striker this summer, despite bringing in Cunha and Mbeumo. Kolo Muani is close to leaving PSG, as coach Luis Enrique and sporting director Luis Campos no longer have faith in him.

Despite a stellar loan spell at Juventus – scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 12 Serie A games – Kolo Muani has struggled to find a place in Paris. In mid-month, he was relegated to training with the reserves, much like Marco Asensio and Carlos Soler, while PSG scrambled to find a transfer partner.

Juventus were previously ready to negotiate with PSG to bring Kolo Muani to Serie A, with an expected price ranging from 40 to 50 million euros, depending on additional fees. However, the appearance of Manchester United, with strong financial potential from investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe, could change the situation.

The "Red Devils" are ready to compete with an attractive offer of up to 60 million euros, especially when Kolo Muani's contract with PSG expires in 2028. The French club also wants to recover part of its capital when it spent up to 95 million euros in 2023 to buy Muani.

The 26-year-old stands out for his speed and sharp finishing ability. Before joining PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt, he also impressed at the 2022 World Cup with the French team.
