Previously, domestic organizations Cerberus Esports and The Expendables had won PGC and PGS, the highest level global tournaments of the game. PUBG’s victory at the “World Cup” affirms the number one position of Vietnamese Esports at the present time.
At the end of the tournament, Vietnam left behind its second-placed opponent, China, by 60 points. The team also broke the long-held scoring record held by the United Kingdom.
The PUBG Nations Cup 2025 Finals will feature 16 of the strongest teams, including the top 8 teams from 2024 (Korea, USA, Thailand, Vietnam, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, China) and 8 teams that made it through the survival round (Chinese Taipei, Denmark, Germany, Indonesia, Norway, Philippines, Poland, United Kingdom).
