Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 brings the message "Elegant Stride", promising to open a new milestone in the journey to elevate Vietnamese models, creating a professional playground for the young generation of models.
Ms. Trang Le, general director and producer of Vietnam's Next Top Model, said that if 15 years ago the program aimed to find potential models, this year it will train and find real Top Models (supermodels) and Vedettes (outstanding models) for the Vietnamese fashion industry.
According to her, the theme "Elegant Stride" chosen by the organizers requires more than catwalk steps, more than professional posing ability - it requires a life attitude, professional courage and professional working style.
“Right after the competition, you will have to stand on your own two feet on big catwalks, so “elegance” is extremely important to evaluate a professional model,” said Ms. Trang Le.
This year's season is upgraded with a series of highly creative, realistic fashion challenges, with meticulous investment in image, expertise and fashion elements.
In particular, the return of the veteran panel of judges includes: supermodel Thanh Hang as host (reality TV show moderator), designer Do Manh Cuong as fashion director, and the Creative Director duo Nam Trung and Ha Do.
Supermodel Thanh Hang shared: “I am sure that the 2025 season will be very different and explosive. The program has produced several episodes so far and I see that it is very on trend. My criteria for evaluating contestants: potential and qualities account for 40%, courage 30% and attitude 30%. We require models to improve their thinking, to show the audience their uniqueness, as well as polite behavior.”
Along with the new season's opening ceremony is the introduction of the top 15 contestants entering the common house of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025. The girls confidently walked the catwalk, expressing their personal style from dynamic to elegant, edgy, and powerful. The contestants were carefully selected from thousands of applications.
Standing out among them are Tuyet Mai - a Taekwondo athlete with an ideal body ratio; Uyen Do attracts attention with her unique curly hair and strong fashion sense; Lai Mai Hoa "overwhelms" with her outstanding height of 1m84.
The program has the surprise appearance of contestants who are known in beauty pageants and social networks such as: Vu My Ngan - Ao Dai Beauty, Top 15 Miss Vietnam 2024; Tam Thanh (Zicky Lee) - content creator with diverse transformation styles; "Dream Girl" Tra My.
Besides, there are also contestants who are professional photo models such as Pham An, Hang Ngo, Huyen Thuong, Ai Bang, Bao Ngoc, Giang Phung or brand new contestants such as Diep Luc, Kim Thanh, Mi Lan.
The first episode will air at 8pm on August 3 on VTV9 and 9pm on MultiTV Official Youtube. The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize of 300 million VND and immediately after the contest will appear in Harper's Bazaar Vietnam magazine and appear in major fashion shows.
